Giselle Perdomo

Veterinary Assistant

Giselle is a key part of the support team that keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes. She handles the background tasks that allow our technicians and doctors to focus fully on the patients and clients who need their care. She is our steady source of help and care, ensuring that every animal and team member is supported!

Patricia Brennan

Receptionist

Patty began working at the WAH in 1985. She has been a loyal employee for 30 years and is our head receptionist. She is married to her husband Joe and has 3 adult children and 2 grandsons. Like any woman, she loves shopping and getting her mani/pedi.

Elaine Rotunda

CVT

Elaine is a certified veterinary technician and the amazing leader of our technician team! Her love for animals started when she was just five years old, tagging along with her mom to Radio City Music Hall every Wednesday to watch the “manatee movies.” One special Wednesday, she saw Rex Harrison in Dr. Dolittle — and from that moment on, she knew she wanted to “talk to animals,” too.

Danielle Alexander

CVT

Danielle graduated from Bergen County Community College with a degree in animal science and is a certified veterinary technician in the state of New Jersey. She started in 2003 and says her favorite part of her job is client education.

Dena Atkinson

Veterinary Technician

At just 17 years old, Dena began her journey in veterinary medicine right here at Wayne Animal Hospital! Today, she’s our lead surgical technician, our resident dog breed expert, and an incredibly important part of our team! Her lifelong love for animals started early, and it was clear from a young age that caring for them was her true calling.

Kelsie Wardlaw

CVT

Kelsie is a certified veterinary technician and proud Oregon State University graduate with a degree in zoology. Her love for animals started early, inspired by her animal-loving family and even a favorite childhood book, The Rhino with the Glue-on Shoes. Kelsie shares her life with Bernadette, a lovable Bernese Mountain Dog who adores pumpkins (she gets a new one every fall!) and has a soft spot for cows and their stuffed look-alikes. Together, they enjoy camping and watching the snow fall.

Her advice for pet owners: “Enjoy every moment you have together — no matter how much time we get, it’s never enough.”

Cheyann

Veterinary Assistant

Cheyann’s journey in veterinary medicine began long before she joined our team. She grew up surrounded by animals — dogs, cats, horses, birds, bunnies, guinea pigs, and fish. From an early age, she knew she wanted to be a voice for those who can’t speak for themselves. Now a dedicated veterinary assistant, Cheyann is working toward her technician certification — and someday, her DVM. Her deep connection with animals shines through in everything she does, and her compassion makes her an incredible part of our team.
