Dr. Casey Hoskin

DVM

Dr. Casey Hoskin is a New Jersey native and lifelong animal lover. She grew up in Bergen County but spent many memorable summers with her grandparents at Pines Lake in Wayne, making this community a place that has always felt like home.

Dr. Hoskin earned her undergraduate degree from Cook College at Rutgers University, where her love of animals, science, and medicine grew. During that time, she rescued and fostered several stray cats and their litters, worked at her hometown veterinary hospital, and advocated for the humane treatment of laboratory animals. She went on to graduate with honors from the Atlantic Veterinary College at the University of Prince Edward Island, where she built the foundation for the veterinarian she is today.

For more than 12 years, Dr. Hoskin has had the privilege of caring for pets and the people who love them. She has a special love for senior pets with grey muzzles and enjoys internal medicine, dentistry, and client education. With a genuine compassion for both pets and their people, she is committed to making every visit as informative, comfortable, and fear-free as possible.

Outside of the hospital, Dr. Hoskin shares her life with her daughter and a house full of cats, each with their own unique personalities and needs. She is a lifelong sci-fi nerd and loves a good campy horror movie.

Dr. Hoskin is truly honored to work alongside an exceptional veterinary team and to be trusted by so many wonderful families with the care of their four-legged family members.

Dr. Marin

DVM

Dr. Marin was born and raised in the Hudson Valley and grew up around animals. She spent many of her early years riding horses competitively and even worked as a zookeeper while in high school, but she did not realize she wanted to be a veterinarian until she was in college! While getting her undergraduate degree, she played (equestrian) polo, spent time in equine medicine, and worked as a veterinary assistant at a small animal general practice, which has given her broad experience working with all types of animals and their owners.

Dr. Marin earned her bachelor’s degree in Biological Sciences from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C. and her veterinary degree from Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine (Go Big Red!). Dr. Marin’s favorite part about being a veterinarian is working with pet owners to ensure the best care for their pet, both at home and at the hospital. Her veterinary interests include emergency medicine, preventative care and disease management, and soft tissue surgery.

In her free time, Dr. Marin likes to travel, read, and go to the gym. She loves getting out of the house to try new things and you may see her out and about in the most random places! She is the proud parent of a kitty named Yzma (ask her for pictures any time) and hopes to one day own a horse again. Dr. Marin is excited to join the team at Wayne Animal Hospital and looks forward to seeing you and your pets!
